Christie Blatchford’s Doppelganger
Knowing my fear of creepy dolls a friend sent me a link to an old commercial for the Charmin Chatty Cathy doll on YouTube. It was indeed frightening. There may be nothing more spooky than a glassy-eyed doll staring at you and expecting a conversation. Yikes!
Perhaps the most disturbing revelation, however, was my discovery that the doll bears an uncanny resemblance to Christie Blatchford, a Canadian journalist who currently has a column with the Globe and Mail newspaper.
